“You are the author of your own book”

Originally from Yorkshire, Natalie has had a diverse journey blending the worlds of psychology, art, and design. After studying at Art College then onto earning a degree in Textile Design, she worked as a fashion print designer and a painter, holding private exhibitions and selling original works to collectors both locally and abroad.

Following the birth of her children, Natalie took a break from painting to focus on her family and career in the corporate world. However, recently she has rekindled her passion for art, returning to her instinctual need to paint as a way of embracing change.

Now residing in a picturesque country village, surrounded by fields and woodlands, she draws inspiration from her environment, creating original paintings in her home studio. Living with her two sons and dog, Scout, she paints with a sense of spontaneity, allowing each piece to evolve naturally. Her works often feature bold, contrasting colours and textured layers, achieved through the use of paper and acrylics on canvas.

With a philosophy of living life as the author of your own story, Natalie invites viewers to engage with her work, encouraging personal interpretation and reflection. Her art is an exploration of the materials, the process, and the moments of inspiration that shape her creations.
